Investors

Shale Crescent USA is appreciative for the financial commitment of its current investors.

Shale Crescent USA, a 501(c) (4) organization was formed by a group of business and community leaders who had the vision to see and act upon future opportunities for our region by capitalizing on the abundance of low cost natural gas.   We are a private economic development organization, not bound by traditional geographic or political considerations.

Our mission is to encourage business growth along the Ohio River Valley based upon our abundance of low cost, natural gas that allows manufacturers to operate more efficiently while producing products more economically with access to water, and 70% of US. Polyethylene and 77% Polypropylene demand within a day’s drive. The American Chemistry Council projects the contributions of a fully developed Appalachian chemical and plastics products industry could be significant, creating nearly $36 billion in capital investment, and over 100,000 jobs by 2025 if companies continue to invest in the creation of an Appalachian petrochemical hub.
